Got Milk? We'll bring the cereal.

To help relieve hunger, Tellabs' Naperville employees donated money and cereal to the Northern Illinois Food Bank. We couldn't resist sharing the team's 2,000 cereal box domino display.

The event was part of Tellabs Giving, our global employee campaign to give back to the communities where we live and work. Around the world, employees raised money for worthwhile causes — and they got pretty creative.

For example, in the United Kingdom, men are growing moustaches and women gave up chocolate to raise money for cancer research. In China, employees pledged to support school libraries in remote areas. And employee cyclists in our Petaluma office rode 100 miles to benefit the local food bank.

And in Naperville, our global headquarters, we... well, just click here to see it for yourself. It's a good video clip for Thanksgiving week.

Comments:
Northern Illinois Food Bank is thrilled once again to have partnered with Tellabs during their giving campaign. The idea of collecting cereal boxes for a large domino display was a uniquely creative idea to get everyone involved, and made the task of helping hungry people fun too. A big thanks to Meredith Hilt and Jim Sheehan for their leadership and energy! Tellabs is truly a great partner!
