Amit Khetawat
Director of Technology Strategy

Amit Khetawat is director of technology strategy at Tellabs. In this role, he is responsible for identifying and building strategy for entering key growth markets for Tellabs in the areas of mobile packet core and next generation communication services.

Prior to joining Tellabs, Khetawat was the director of technology and product management at Kineto Wireless, where he was the lead evangelist and architect for their femtocell line of business. Khetawat has a versatile background in mobile networks including mobile data, voice, and fixed mobile convergence and has held variety of leadership and engineering positions at Cosine Communications and IBM.

Khetawat has more than 15 years of telecommunication industry experience. He holds a Master of Science degree in computer engineering from North Carolina State University, USA, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronics and telecommunications from Pune University, India.
