Mike O'Malley
Director of Market Strategy

Mike O'Malley is director of market strategy at Tellabs. In this role, he is responsible for application marketing, business case development and product and market segmentation across the entire Tellabs product portfolio.

Prior to this role, O'Malley held a variety of positions in marketing, product management and product planning for Tellabs data, access and transport products. Previously, he held domestic and international marketing positions supporting Tellabs IP/MPLS, VOIP, SONET, DWDM, digital cross-connect and cable telephony products.

O'Malley has more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree in marketing from the University of Illinois.
