Yee Soon
Principal Architect, Chief Technology Office
Yee Soon is principal architect in the chief technology office at Tellabs. In this role, he designs advanced services and applications for mobile networks in the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to joining Tellabs, Soon was senior network architect at NEC, where he worked on the world's first IPTV network in Hong Kong. Soon holds pending patents in the areas of MPLS, PBB and application flow queuing. He has authored papers and presented to international audiences.
Soon has more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and holds Master and Bachelor of Engineering degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Melbourne.
