Rizwan Khan promoted to Tellabs executive vice president of global marketing
Naperville, Ill. — Tellabs promoted Rizwan Khan, 42, previously vice president of global marketing, to executive vice president of global marketing. Khan will be responsible for Tellabs marketing, communications, corporate competitive intelligence and business development.
Khan will report to Rob Pullen, Tellabs chief executive officer and president.
"Rizwan brings a comprehensive understanding of Tellabs products, strategy and industry to his new position," Pullen said. "He is the right person to lead our efforts to communicate Tellabs products, solutions and overall story."
Khan has more than 20 years of telecommunications industry experience, including 7 years at Tellabs. He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Pakistan.
