Through innovative native mode call processing, the Tellabs® 3700 MC maintains the Enhanced Variable Rate Codec (EVRC)/ Enhanced Variable Rate Codec B (EVRC-B) throughout the entire voice path. It also enables superior double-talk (simultaneous conversation), even with high background noise. When acoustic echo is removed from the call, the Tellabs® 3700 MC injects matched comfort noise, mimicking background noise.
