How to Register:

  1. From www.portal.tellabs.com, click on register and follow the online instructions for registration.
  2. After you submit your registration request, Tellabs Portal Support will return a confirmed username and password to your email address, typically within two to three business days.
  3. Once you have a username and password, return to the Tellabs Portal and click on Login.
  4. Use your new username and password to access the online services.

The Tellabs Portal provides Tellabs customers and partners with access to the following information and tools related to Tellabs Products and Services:

Tellabs eCommerce

Tellabs eCommerce offers order-related features and functionalities.

  • Online Ordering
    Our current Tellabs customers can order non-configurable products online anytime from anywhere.
  • Order and Shipment Status
    Track the completion and shipment status of orders placed via fax, email, or Tellabs eCommerce.
  • Pricing and Availability Lookup
    Look up product availability and build online quotes using your contracted prices.
  • Repair and Return Status
    Confirm Tellabs' receipt of returned items and the items' repair/return status.

Product Documentation

  • Product Manuals and User Guides: Product manuals and user guides are listed by product and can be downloaded directly from the Tellabs Portal.
  • Product Notifications: Notifications are issued when changes to a product impact the equipment Tellabs markets and sells. Tellabs issues the following types of customer notifications:
    • Product Change Notices (PCN). Communicates a modification to an existing product, which may include any that affect the form, fit, and function, product technical specification, and safety or reliability of the product.
    • Product Performance Notices (PPN). Communicates potential product issues and performance conditions.
    • Manufacturing Discontinued (MD). Communicates that product hardware and/or software will no longer be manufactured, and will not be available for purchase after the designated MD effective date.
    • New Product Announcements (NPA). Announces new products. NPAs typically contain a description of the hardware or software product(s), Tellabs' software product identification, and date of availability.
  • Product Marketing Materials: View and download marketing collateral directly from the Tellabs Portal.
  • Product and Operational Support Policies: View and download Tellabs' latest policies and guidelines for operational support and maintenance for Tellabs products.

Technical Documentation

  • Technical Manuals: Manuals for troubleshooting, installation, testing, system specifications, equipment initialization, provisioning, expansion, replacement procedures, and maintenance are listed by product and can be easily downloaded from the Tellabs Portal.
  • Release Notes: Customers can access and download the latest Tellabs software product release notes. Release notes contain a brief overview of the product; a listing of what is new in a release, including bug fixes and new features; notes about installation, upgrading, and product documentation (including documentation updates); or a listing of known software issues.
  • Field Service Bulletins (FSBs): Customers are notified of new FSBs pertinent to their installed base. FSBs remain on file so customers can refer to their own virtual library of FSBs.
  • Methods of Procedure (MOPs): Customers can access instruction sets to aid in the execution of upgrades or maintenance activities.
