This instructor-led course provides knowledge and skills needed to provision and manage a Tellabs 1000 Multiservice Access Platform (MSAP) for delivering Voice, ATM, and Ethernet/IPTV services using Tellabs 1090 (Panorama) NMS, Feature Package 6.2.
After a brief introduction to the Tellabs 1090 NMS system functionality, participants will learn how to provision the Tellabs 1000 system to provide the services and applications. The course includes hands-on activities using a Tellabs training lab system environment. It is designed to help participants learn the concepts that have been presented and reinforce what they have learned.
This course includes an optional end of course assessment, approximately 35 minutes in duration, which consists of a knowledge test and a performance test. Participants opting to take the course assessment must also enroll in the Tellabs 1000 MSAP Provisioning using Tellabs 1090 NMS Assessment (10P1090NMS62A). Both tests are completed immediately after the training session. Assessments are currently not offered on site.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Recognize Tellabs 1090 NMS functionality
- Use Tellabs 1090 NMS common services including Alarm List Manager, Event Manager, and Filter Manager to manage Tellabs 1000 network
- Provision voice services using Tellabs 1090 NMS
- Provision ATM services using Tellabs 1090 NMS
- Provision Ethernet and IPTV services using Tellabs 1090 NMS
